This situation arose through circumstances outside the organisations control. The Directors made every effort to avoid having to take this action, but unfortunately there was no alternative.

Some members of staff have voluntarily undertaken the decision to work on behalf of the projects until these can be passed over to a new Coordinator (maybe longer if possible), without remuneration, but unfortunately this cannot be done from the office premises as these are now closed. Chalex's Directors want to make it clear that despite the inevitable problems created. They are doing their upmost to assist the liquidator, ex employees and project partners to resolve this situation as quickly as possible.
